We are proud to announce Derek O’Kanos’ next EP Spoken Roads will be available on 9.2.22. O’Kanos has been hard at work around the greater New England area, working on building up his base for this moment. Much like his last, this effort will be available digitally and on compact disc, pre-orders are now available!
When asked about the effort, Derek says, “This one seems more dialed in. As much as I love On the Sleeve, I feel a sense of coming into my own. If nothing else, the sound is definitely more cohesive.”
Spoken Roads is another solo effort with Derek contributing all the sounds contained within. The one man band bringing his songs to life without getting in the way of the message, meaning, or story. Fans of O’Kanos’ music should expect the same genre-bending approach that they know and love; Spoken Roads covers territory in the realms of powerpop, alternative, folk rock, and the like.
