Oak Honest Records is an independent record label based in New England. We provide honest records, cassettes, and CD’s to those who wish to listen. Established in 2020, Oak Honest Records serves as the vehicle through which artist Derek O’Kanos releases his solo material. However, all artists are welcome to send submissions if they wish to become a part of the Oak Honest family.
Since 2020, we have grown into a collective of driven and passionate artists. We have conducted several showcase events throughout the greater New England area, in addition to countless individual performances. Our members have been recognized by prestigious organizations such as the New England Music Awards and the Boston Music Awards. We have over a dozen releases in our catalog, spanning the spectrum of sound. This is why:
Oak Honest Records is not aligned with a singular sound or genre. We appreciate music for the multifaceted gem that it is; it’s because of this that we enjoy and create rock ‘n’ roll, folk, country, pop, punk, blues, metal, and more.
